“Much of my early inspiration came from my time back home in Indonesia, where I grew up attending an international school surrounded by a vibrant mix of cultures and the emerging trends of the 2010s, such as Lo-fi and Bedroom Pop..."
Now venturing into sonic branding and title sequence work, she’s been reimagining her sound through abstract experimentation by merging ambient noise, everyday soundscapes, and unconventional audio to evoke mood and identity.
Sonic Kitchen is a five-track concept album that transforms the sounds of global street food culture into music. By weaving field recordings from local vendors with sounds such as sizzling pans, market chatter, and street ambience with traditional music from China, India, Indonesia, Japan, and Spain, the album reimagines everyday noise as rhythmic texture. Each track is both a cultural remix and a tribute to the heartbeat of public spaces where food and sound collide.
